KRISHNA CAMPUS GOES GREEN WITH 'SAUKHYAM' ON WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY, 2025
Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth (DU), Karad is the first University in Maharashtra to sign an MOU on 5/6/2025 with NGO Ayurarogya Saukhyam Foundation which is run by Anju Bisht. Two flagship projects under this MOU are Project CARE (Campus Action for Reusable Essentials) and Project *REACH*(Rural Empowerment and Community Health). This MOU symbolizes a unique and significant step taken for World Environment Day 2025 with theme Plastic Free Planet Starts with Me
40 Girls of 6 institutes under KVV came forward voluntarily to show willingness for shifting from Disposable Sanitary Pads to Reusable Sanitary Pads.
These girls will start change from themselves and then will act as ambassadors to motivates other girls on campus as well as in Community. The Project CARE is being executed as a Team effort of Dept of Community Medicine KIMS and 06 Faculty Ambassadors representing all the constituent Colleges of The KVV.
